This extremely well designed Merc is as expensive and powerful as it looks! To be more precize; you can buy a new one for no less than 614.000 Euro! That includes the ridiculously high VAT as charged. That is 86.000 Euro more than a Rolls Royce Phantom!The engine produces no less than 626 bhp and gives you the opportunity to drive a mind boggling 334 km/h! I must admit that is even faster than what I think is the most exciting sportscar of the past decade, the Porsche Carrera GT. Even the highly exotic Lamborghini Murcielago is a little slower than the McLaren.
The McLaren is even faster than all Ferrari’s ever made. No, wait, all but one! There is one Ferrari that can keep up with the McLaren and that is the Enzo. All the other toys from Modena, including the brand new F430, will only see the tail-lights of this super-benz! I am told the Saleen S7 and the Bugatti Veyron are supposed to be faster than the McLaren, but I have never seen one of them for sale in the Netherlands. The McLaren however is “easy” to obtain! Right now there are 4 of them for sale in the Netherlands. For only 325.000.
